Wedding Dictionary of Acronyms and Abbreviations

Everybody who seeks for any wedding related info, soon bumps into numerous more or less clear abbreviations or acronyms. Like every event which needs a lot of planning, coordination, and detailed schedule to follow, a wedding dictionary is full of specific slang (we may even say a lingo) and we decided to make a list of the most used abbreviations in the business. Look at it as a small guiding into the big world of one of the most important days in your life.

From now on every time when you’ll search for info about weddings on forums, you’ll have a handy listing of the popular acronyms. No more embarrassment when you’ll try to figure out what is the difference between BF and BFF, what DIL stands for or what is the meaning of FOB. All these and more are widely used in the web, where we all crave for time and in wedding guides and worksheets, where everybody constantly fights the lack of space.

You’ll notice some of the abbreviations can have different meanings, depending on the contest, some phrases can be presented with different acronyms and you’ll also find many which are borrowed from other more or less related themes, as do-it-yourself projects, dating or family planning.
